broken rear window on thanksgiving :(
My rx8 driver side window got smashed on Thanksgiving, yes what a good way to enjoy the holiday. And mazda is charging me 325 just to order the glass, does anyone know any sites that sell the rear quarter glass?
also tried looking for salvaged rx8 around my area but luck.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
Dealer price just for that small window is $325!? Ouch! Anyway, the only one that i could think off is the salvage yard. Good luck on searching for one rather than the dealerships.

I used to work for ABRA. Safelite glass sucks. We avoided it at all cost. We tried to go OEM where we could. Most cars built in NA use PPG. Since the 8's are built in Japan, I'm not sure off hand who the glass is made by for Mazda. In most cases like this we would get dealer parts. Safelite just sucks.

From working at ABRA, quarter glass and vent windows are the most expensive on any car. Windshields are cheap compared to most little pieces. No real reason on why was ever given to me. I know some come with more moldings and trim pieces attached. Most like those on the RX8 and back doors of trucks come with the whole frame, hinges, and the latch. They are also a much bigger pain in the *** to put in.

dam that sucks... 325 thats way too much. My's new mini had a big chip on her front windshield, dealer qouted her somewhere upwards around $900... but we found a local place that would do it for $250. I'd say look around locally .. 325 for a quarter panel is just too much..
