Bar in Trunk for Spare Tire
Hi there, I am currently thinking about getting some subwoofers installed into my Rx8, and i was wondering if removing the bar that the spare tire connects to has any other purpose than to hold the tire. Is it a bar to protect against crashed? Help with suspension? Any advice would be helpful. Just wondering if removing that bar will have a detrimental effect to the feel of the car or to my safety. Thanks in advance.
