auxilatory port [AUX]

Question ... Guys and Gals . I have a 06 and looking to hook a AUX port , need my Pandora and I pod music . Is there a way to get that hook up on a 06 . I email the dealer and he said "There currently is no aux port accessory for your rx-8 " is he right ?

GROM Audio for Mazda

Best there is. I have the older $75 dollar model listed on that page and for just an AUX in, it works great.

Did u do it u r self? And if so was it difficult ?

Quite simple. Many threads about removing the stock radio to plug this in. Over 1000 posts here you would think you would be able to find them

The AuxMod is another good quality cheaper option:
Sylfex

I just got my RX-8 2 days ago and installed it the day I got it. It was very simple to install. I also routed the aux cable down from the radio, below the shifter, and into the cup holders. It's very convenient because there are no wires sticking out anywhere except when you open the cup holder (because that's where you plug in your phone/ipod.)

I installed the Sylfex AuxMod, as well... It works excellent.
