I've owned my RX8 for about two months now and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, I couldn't care less about it having a little less torque and horsepower than some other sports cars, or it's mediocre gas mileage. My 8 is a monster on the highway, always ready and able to rocket me ahead of anybody and I've never had so many people comment on the cars looks. I'll get comments from people at the gas station, while I'm driving... The bottom line is that the 8 is unique in it's looks and style and a great overall performer! I feel like it's my new child... My wife took it out for a spin tonight and I'm already missing it and worried whether it's ok or not. Anyhow, what do the rest of you guys think...

i feel the exact same way. granted im only a senior in highschool, but if there is anywhere where a nice car stands out, its during highschool. countless friends of mine have come up to me to say they are in love with my car and everything about it. im gunna hafta go ahead and say its probably the nicest car in the lot during the day. except for maybe that other girl who drives a brand new audi s4!!
wished i had my car during high school. it would have been easier to pick up chicks. but then again, i think kids at my high school would probably mess with my car.
yeah i still worry parking it in the lot. theres a lotta jerks out there. people constantly joke with me, 'hey i just keyed ur car' or 'hey i didnt see ur car cuz it was dark this morning i rubbed up against it with my bumper, i dont think its too bad'... thank god theyre only joking tho! im dreading ever hearing someone be serious about it though. pray for me when the snow comes and the dumbass girl with the girly girl racing sticker on her car is trying to park next to me.
as for picking up chicks-- i can vouch that it does help indeed lol
The eight has universal appeal, even the folks at the Senior Center are turned on with it's good looks!

pulled up to the club last night to valet the car...it feels good to hear the valet say"sweet car...i've never got to park on e of these yet" and everyone at the front door is just staring!!! i don't need an escalade with 22's on it to be a baller at the clucb!!!
but i still left alone so the car is getting scrapped tommorow...

I'm spoiled rotten anymore. My other 2 cars don't really get any looks at all. I don't like them anymore... they are only used as my mules. Mine still looks like new and still gets a whole lotta looks, 16 months later! That's crazy! No 16 month old car should be getting these kind of looks! ..wOOt..
Geez, what car will deserve my attention next time I'm looking for a new car? I dunno... maybe the new RX-7?
my car has been a blast to drive in high school. i park right at the front. only thing now is to wait till tomorrow, my friend said he saw a new black 8 last friday. if its another student that got it. its guna be crazy. throw down.
