So it's cold outside so you decide to put your seat warmer on... A few minutes pass and you feel no warmth. Then you notice it's not even on.

I always tend to rest my arm on the center console while my hand is on the shifter, and every time i do the seat warmer turns off!

I live in Texas, and I hate it when I'm looking for something in the console, and 5 minutes later my back is cooking like a bitch!!!

I need to find something useful for those switches..... like maybe a double nitrous setup or something.

Oh, wait!

I'll just clip the wires.

They're connected with little clip connectors. Find a guide for center console removal and you can have them disconnected in a matter of minutes and all you have to do is plug them back in whenever you're ready.

I'm planning on moving the switches elsewhere (need to get a non-heated seat console first though. Maybe the ashtray or something.

I don't have one on my rx8, but i have one on the 6i. It really warms you up on cold days.

I used them but it seemed like I always warmed the seat up to body temperature before I felt the heater. By the time I noticed the heater I had already adjusted and would just turn it off.

My elbow sits on the top of the cubby hole cover. So, never hit the switches.

Same goes for tight fitting underwear and hot showers.

I didn't really think about this before...

Doesn't the rocker switch move forward to turn the heaters on? It seems much more likely that someone would accidentally turn them on than off.

They could have redirected some of the heat going into our cup warmers to the seats.

When do you even use them? I couldn't even 100% say my heater in the car works since its never even been on living out here. If I had the heated seats the only time they would come on would be accidentally.
