Goign to get mine today

Well, I am picking up my newly bought 2004 Rx8 today. The vehicle is Brilliant Black with 8,000 miles on it, it has the GT package and everyone option except navigation and the rotary accent package. I hope I got a decent deal on it for just under $21k (after taxes, registration, fees $18.7k without). Let me know if i got screwed on price. I am looking forward to owning it.

No way.

The 06s are not being discounted nearly as much as the 05s were.

Well it looks like I may have taken a little bit of a hit then but, at least it only has 8k miles on it and there is still over 2 years on the warranties.

Decent price. Not great, but you didn't get hosed.

The accents are cheaper aftermarket, so you're better off going that route anyway. The same is true for strakes (if you don't have those). I can dig up the links if you're interested.

Good luck w/it - and welcome!

Welcome! another black RX-8 owner! I think it's a great price at such a low mileage! Go to mazda dealer and check if all the recalls are done though, there must be dozen of them for 04 models...

Good! I hope so! I hate to see these things so heavily discounted.
