Exclamation AT 8 trouble

hello, I'm a new owner and new to this site!!! I own a 2005 Black AT 8, to save all of you MT drivers from burning me for buying an AT hahaha I know how to drive manual, but the AT was a good deal, plus most of my commute is in stop and go driving.... but more power to you all MT drivers and whoever has an 8....

anyway...

I have a problem, as I'm driving sometimes I hear this noise coming from my car it sounds like something is loose or it sounds like a bird chirpping or something squealing as I drive, and if I press the gas it slowly starts to go away, but I can still hear it.... Then when I stop at a traffic light i'll put the car into Neutral and the noise will go away or at anytime I put it into Neutral and the noise goes away... The noise isn't constant so the dealer can't figure it out, but I do hear the noise at least twice a day.... The dealer thought it might be the motor mount so today the dealer just put new front and rear motor mounts on and it's still making the noise.....

can anyone help me??? I don't know much about the RX-8 so I'm fairly new, all I can say is that this noise has got to be fixed!!! If anyone can help me I would be grateful!! this mostly pertains to AT owners, but if MT owners know anything about this please help me out.....

Mine makes the same noise intermittently. I took it to the dealer and they couldnt hear crap.
It sounded like a belt or something to me. They checked all the belts and said everything was good. If you find out what is causing yours please share it, and i will do the same. As long as it isnt something as serious as the seals, im not too stressed.

This noise is the BANE of my existance!! I HATE IT!

My car is not even four years old and it sounds like a jalopy because of this and other AT noises. I too can put the tranny in neutral at a stop and all the sounds go away. I've reported it to the dealer several times and when it comes out from service it's quiet for a few hours and all the sounds come right back.

I also get major vibrations through the transmission, which shake the entire car, while stuck in traffic or when the tranny is very cold. Again, put the tranny in neutral and it all goes away.

I don't know where Mazda picked up this tranny, but it's a piece.

EDIT: Good thing I read deeper in the forums, looks like my harsh vibration could be caused by a Collapsed/Broken motor mount . From the linked thread, sounds like the part is on national backorder and has not been made a TSB, hence the reason I didn't know about it.

Back to the dealer I go.

I don't know guys and girls (bunnygirl)..."DRERX-8" I only go to this sunoco gas station with an octane level of 94...... this noise is really pissing me off, because some people stare at me not only cause I have the 8, but it's definitely the noise, i mean it sounds like there's a f*cking bird under the hood of my car singing a song..... The Mazda dealer already changed my front and rear motor mount that was ordered from Japan, cause they didn't have it in the dealership and just like "stangmatt66" said it went away so i was freaking happy, but it came right back maybe 30 mins later..... "SPR GRN8" I'll definitely let you know and everyone else who has this problem know if theres a solution to this F*cking problem!!! Its really driving me crazy i don't know what to do....

Side Note: you think if i went to my mazda dealer and complained a **** load think they would give me a new tranny under warranty???
