60K mile service
I'm approaching 60K miles. Has anyone had their 60K mile service done yet? If so, what did you pay.
My dealer quoted me a price of $640.00. Does that seem reasonable?

He's as bad as Can
I hit 62,000 last week and after 50,000 will not let the dealer see it it I can help it.
$640 is too high, in the manual ( page 8-4 ) the only special thing done at 60K is MT & Diff fluid change. I just did that Sunday and can be done in less than an hour yourself.

Thanks for the info Expo...I'm kinda of the same way when it comes to the stealership. I try to stay away as much as possible.
I was under the impression that they also changed the plugs, air filter, and brake fluid in addition to what expo posted. That still doesn't add up to $640 though.
What about plug wires...do they change those also?

Amazing that some of your 03 cars are up there already.
A few high milage 03 cars here in Oz would be up to just 60k km, you guys must be on the road clocking up highway miles every day for the last 3 years.....
Would be interesting to see how far the 13B-MSP engines last before its re-build time. Should be way better than the 13B-REW engines....

There is NO WAY I'll ever pay a dealership $640 for whatever it is they do at 60K. If you haven't already changed trans / diff fluids, do it yourself.
