Hi,

I need a passenger side 2005 Mazda RX8 headlight assembly with HID...I actually found one on ebay with Halogens not HIDs...can I use the same headlight assembly from ebay and just replace the halogens with my existing HID light bulbs?...I hope the same assembly (casing) can be used with either HID's or Halogens.....or do I have to get an assembly specifically designed for the HIDs?

Please do let me know and also any other place to buy these parts...Thanks!

Well, I just have a crack on my headlight lens/covering...my HID lights are working fine...I just need to replace the assembly/covering/housing and can fit my existing bulbs/lights in the new housing...hence, can I just use the assembly with Halogens and replace the halogens with my HIDs?...am sorry, but my knowlegde on how these lights and the assembly are put together is limited...online I've found assemblies that say "headlight assembly with HID" or "headlight assembly with Halogens"...i dont care about the lights as long as i can fit the ones i have into the new assembly...
