OK, I've had my 8 for two weeks now (and have traveled almost 1000 miles in it), so I thought I'd post some new comments.

My favorite interior element is the usability of the red display. I still think that the quality of the lettering could be improved, but the convenience is great.

The CD player's randomizer is a bit strange. First, it's the only one I've seen that seems to be truly random - I've had the same song play four time out of five (AABAA). However, if you do anything to it besides turning it on/off the random attribute will be turned off. Normally, I expect to be able to skip one song I don't like and have it randomly select a new song. Here, if I skip the song it will exit random mode - and entering random mode again will select a new song. Same with seek even!

As mentioned previously, the center console definitely wins the award for items most likely to break. The rear cupholder I have previously mentioned, and I stand by my word - it's already broken twice. However, joining that cupholder is the front arm rest. Whenever I lean on it (such as moving my butt in the seat) the armrest shifts about an inch or so to the side and sounds like it's cracking. Yeesh!

What, no CD / tape holder? It seems to me that you could easily put the seat warmer buttons at 1:00 and 11:00 above the gearshift, thus providing for a small opening to hold a few CDs. Maybe someone who has looked under the car can provide some more feedback about what's there, but I would really like to see a bit more space for my CDs.

The trunk has plenty of room, but the opening isn't as wide as I would like. I got myself a new power washer, and even though the dimensions leave plenty of room to put it inside, I couldn't get it through the opening.

My dealership's service bay is filled with idiots. I got my LoJack installed, and they filled out the paperwork that it was a blue car. It's Nordic Green. Are they complete idiots or something? Calling this color black I can understand, but calling it blue requires a special type of color blindness that I can't comprehend - and I am partially colorblind myself.

The stereo is plenty for me.

The AC is plenty for me.

The acceleration is plenty for me, and seems to be negligably changed with 2, 3, or 4 adults in the car.

Yes, I've had 2, 3, and 4 adults in the car. Everybody was comfortable in all scenarios.

The moonroof and windows work really quickly.

Stop-and-go driving is worse in this car for mileage. In rush-hour traffic I average 15 MPG, in highway I get around 22+. In regular city traffic I average around 18-19.

I have to stop washing this car. Every time I wash it, it rains within 15 minutes. Seriously. All three times I've had this car clean, it has rained within 15 minutes. 1) When I bought the car, it rained before I made it home. 2) My uncle cleaned the car, it rained while test-driving my cousins around. 3) I cleaned the car and went for a drive, it rained before I got to the gas station.

So many people like the look of this car. I've had people call out to me while stopped at a red light, leave their table at a restaurant, roll down the windows while driving. Men and women (more men), old and young (more young). I've had people tell me they were getting this car instead of a BMW M3, Mustang GT, and a Infinitiy G35.

OK, I have to get back to work now. Enjoy your cars!
