did your dealerships adhere to your requests?
is there anything the dealership did (or didn't) do to your car that u wish they hadn't (had)?
and oh yeah, CONGRATS! (where's mine dammit?)
I just made verbal requests, but pretty much hammered them in. When the car arrived, nobody but the tech drove it to do the PDI and the salesman took it to the gas station to fill the tank. I had 3.8 miles on it. I was very pleased, and was probably a little paranoid about the whole thing.

I faxed the letter to my dealer yesterday. He said he would do everything except #1: be there for the initial inspection. He said that he doesn't know exactly when the truck will arrive and that they unload the cars and do the intitial inspection in about 30 minutes so I would not be able to make it in time.
I also said that my car has not been released form port yet and therefore won't be on the next truck coming tomorrow.

I took delivery on the 15th and my dealer complied with my requests completely. He called two hours before the truck was due so I could be there when it arrived but I was unable to get there untill the next morning. I got to the dealership about 0730 and found the car in a service bay, locked and with all of the wrapping still on, just as I requested. The tech then completed the inspection with me looking over his shoulder and asking questions. WE then took a test drive together and he complied with my rather conservitive 5000 RPM limit, no questions. I'm pretty sure I'm classified as a difficult customer so that might have helped with the cooperation issue. This was their first RX-8 delivery.
