buying

i'm thinking about getting a 04 RX-8, it has 72k miles and i was wondering if i should expect to have any mechanical problems in the near future..

if you don't maintain it,or it wasn't maintained by the previous owner(s), then yes, you'll have mechanical problems

have the compression tested and have a mechanic check it out. get the VIN and call Mazda north america make sure all recalls and flashes have been performed and RX8Soldier is right just read, read and read. I read for 6 months before I bought one and still after a yr of owning one still dont know know half of it. Good Luck man
