1st time owner

i recently purchased a 04 rx8 from a dealership in scottsburg indiana. i didnt know they were so much difference than a ordinary car. my car has 63000 miles and the motor has less than a 1000 miles on it. when i bought it i took it to the gas station and noticed it leaked , the dealer put me in a new tank and sesors and fuel pump, pretty much everything on this car has been replaced ,vacuum lines, control panel heater core seat belts wiper blades tires , and thats just what i can remember, its bright red and it turns heads where ever i go its a beutiful automobile . there are a few things that i want to get done to it but just trying to get to know it a little better. any info you can give me to keep up with the maintanince i would appreciate. i have already been pulled over for speeding but thankfully the state policeman gave me a break ,this car cruises 85 or 90 and you dont even relize it well hope to hear some feed back . thanks jim

Welcome and congrats.

There is a lot of information on this site though you have to weed through a bunch of crap to find it sometimes.

Start by reading this thread. It covers a lot and well help you weed through everything else. Also, read your owners manual. It's full of useful stuff.

Oh and I might add.
Try to stay away from posting a wall of text.

Hit the return key once and awhile please, when you are posting.
Makes it way easier to read and you might just get a few more people answering your post.
Most times when I see a wall of text like that .... I'm like **** that, next post.

Just say'n ....

Cheers and welcome.

Good luck and as fuz mentioned there is access to tons of information here. If you have a question chances are it has already been asked and discussed in great detail. Don't be afraid to use that search tab at the top of the page.

Hey all!
This is my first of many posts to come!
Bought an 04 RX-8 today and couldn't be happier. I was driving home from the dealership and realized that I needed to slow down....alot. lol Been smiling all day! The car is silver and bone stock (for now). Can't wait to start the project!
Thank you in advance to all who will be answering my many questions!
Nate
