Rabbits can be pretty violent, and seem to grow much larger. Plus there are a lot of wild rabbits, where guinea pigs seem to me more house hold animals.

after all physical injuries inflicted upon each other, the guinea pig would still live to be much older
.
i had both a guinea pig and a rabbit in a cage living together for the past 3yrs. (both are the same age), and the guinea pig is still alive today

i'd say the guinea pig it is so slow and lazy..it's just storing up all that energy waiting for a chance to unleash it. lol poor poor rabbit

As far as rabbits are concerned, General Woundwort from Watership Down fought a dog and lived. I've never heard of a guinea pig doing that.
