Just put down my Deposit for my RX-8!!! Black, Black cloth interior, AT, Sports Package, Rear Spoiler, Rotary Accent Package, should take possession sometime next week.
I have done all my research/dealing with the dealerships on-line, kinda got jerked around a bit by Lee Johnson in Kirkland, but so far, everything going great with University Mazda in Seattle. Can't wait!!!!

Good choice going with University Mazda...tell them I sent you, they might give you a better price...plus they'll give me $50 ....I've bought two 8 through them and have no regrets dealing with 'em.
Seriously though, I bought both of mine through John Kiernan. Talk to him, tell him I recommended him, and he might be able to fenagle a better price for you.
Good luck, hope you enjoy your 8!

Well Blue, scooted up to 50th, over to I-5 and then left my wife (driving our 2002 Mazda MPV ES, she had one of the kids, I had the other) in the dust headed down the offramp onto I-5!!! Yeah, It was 100% no hassle today, still need to have the Rotary Accent Package and Spoiler installed (and, strake or not to strake, that is the question!) but John gets my reccomendation.
Diving the black beauty to Spokane tomorrow. The Issaquah/Renton area now has another RX-8 on the prowl!
Let me know EMS! BTW, I mentioned to John that I had been on this board to do my research, even mentioned "a guy from Puyalup" that he had sold to as well.

Strange, my Lee Johnson experience was effortless. Sent an e-mail from Vegas telling them to have the car ready when I got home (included trim and the price I wanted) and they were ready to deal. My only trouble was that they had to trade with another dealership to get the trim I wanted, but my sales guy left his Corvette in Puyallup to get me the car before my Birthday, which was the deadline for the deal.
Make me another on the list who has had a bad experience with Lee Johnson, I ended up at Doug's Lynwood Mazda. I only go to Lee Johnson for oil changes.
