New parts installed.

I got my intake, radiator, intake box, and ram air scoop the other week. The RE-Amemiya intake set was quite easy, looks great, sounds even better, and there's been a fair gain in power.

I installed them the other day. Found out that I had to take the intake box out again to be able to get to the radiator hoses. Other than that, it went pretty smoothly. I put the finishing touches on today, some grills for the intake and the center "hole".

The exhaust system will be arriving next week. Hopefully I'll have it in by then.

Also, any drives happening in the Portland area?

You had to cut up your bumper to make that fit?

Wow. Sorry but I can not get over cutting into the bumper for the intake. And then you drilled two holes to attach the license plate with zip ties? Sorry not trying to slam your work.

Which exhaust are you getting? What future mods do you have planned?

There is a poker run in May. Unfortunately not many Portland drives on this board. Check out the rx7club NW section for drives as well.

yeah, i have the same opinion. i couldn't imagine cutting my front bumper to install an intake, then using zip ties to install my license plate. What type of intake would make you cut your bumper? but hey, if you like it....that's all that matters right?

Why? For speed.

I was gonna wait on the dyno until the RE-Amemiya exhaust (Super Dolphin Tail, exhaust manifold and sport cat) arrives and I get to install it.

For other mods? I'm going to be getting the RB lightened rotor assembly, Blitz S/C, a port an polish from Mazdatrix, the Hymee ECM, full roll cage, Auto-exe sub frame braces, a better LSD, R-Magic lip/front, RE-Amemiya side and rear diffusers, a GT wing and more. Basically it's going to be a time attack monster as soon as summer break rolls around.

The zip ties are only temporary, I'm gonna figure out a different way to attach the plate. It also looks much better in person.

If you don't have a dyno for your current mods, you didn't gain an power. If you don't have a baseline from before the mods, you didn't gain any power.

Sorry, but I think it more likely you're butt dyno is showing "a fair gain in power" due to the increased surface area of the but to seat interface resulting from the lightened wallet mod. Not hating, but you can't make a claim without proof.

I have the RE-Amemiya manifold to muffler, Nardi Classico 330m suede, Rapfix II quick release, and NRG short hub, HKS Twin Power DLI II ignition amplifier, Optima Yellow Top installed. I also have some RT-615's on (245/40 R18)

Defi gauges (Oil T, Oil P, EGT, VSD X, Defi-Link), Bride GIAS Andromeda seats, Project Mu big brake kit for the front and pads and rotors for the rear, Cusco 6pt rollcage, Cobb Tuning AccessPort, 5pt strap and pads for the Takatas, a spin/turn ****, NGK Iridium plugs, and HKS plug wires. These are ordered and will be arriving steadily over the next month.

I still haven't gotten a dyno, been too busy and I'm now waiting for the AccessPort so I can have some tuning done at the same time.

It seems to have a gain in mpg if I drive with reservation. But, it is toooo much fun to rail it.

I also have the oil temp, oil pressure and VSD X wired up. Waiting on a rev adapter for the VSD X to work completely. Next week, I'll have time to get the exhaust temp all wired up. I'll post pics once everything is all neat and tidy.
