Quest for 10 Post and 30 Days #n00b
Good morning,
This morning started off like any other. Wake up, shower, groom, head to work. The unique thing about today was I decided to sign up for RX8 Club as I'm looking to make a bad decision of purchasing a Craigslist RX-8 to transplant the engine into a Dodge Rampage.
You see, after we conquered the World in World War II, we decided that we should share the idea of freedom with other countries. We tried to show Japan how to horsepower, but they went a slightly different direction, and shape. We actually admired the shape so much we tried it in the Corvette for a while, but we weren't good enough at math to master it. The newly empowered America loving Japanese however, did master it, because we were too busy barbecuing, and they're better at math. Today we've mastered the triangle and it's readily available in many great flavors of Doritos, and while Japan has officially given up on the triangle, I haven't, and that's why I'm here.
So I need to accrue 10 posts and wait 30 days to really immerse myself in this community (sorry in advance) but my previous triangle experience involves an FC, then I built a rotary powered Subaru Brat for 24 hours of Lemons (it's popped up on Speedhunters and Jalopnik long ago) and the natural progression only makes sense to do a Renesis Dodge Rampage.
I'm sure I'll need to tap into the wealth of knowledge and first hand experience here, because let's face it, I like pizza and barbecue too much and simply don't have time to figure things out first hand when I can be lazy and ask on the internet.
Here is a Dodge Rampage, hopefully most of you are classy enough to not know this existed.
Please feel free to rate my thread, I hope I earned five stars.
Anyways I found a Rx-8 for $1,000 on everyone's favorite site for everything, from used furniture, to vehicles, to romance, craigslist.org. It runs and pulls as strong as a stock Rx-8 can pull, but magically shuts off after about 5 minutes, and doesn't smoke.....I need to figure that out.
