new guy here, need help, not a noob
Hi there ppl, im new to the forum, had 2 rx8, and now owner of a 2004 with 55 000 miles.
im 31 ,from Quebec, canada.work as a tech for subaru, and i allways been a mazda guy through the years.
i had such a blast with the car, and im now in need of some information/help with a weird problem.
i cant post on the tech page, probably because of my low post count, so i will hope to be able to get my post count high enough to ba part of the comunauty
please forgive the typos, english is my second language.

i'm experiencing missfire/hesitation , but ONLY at partial throtle and ONLY when it rains or is super humid.
list of mods=
MS cai
megan racing midpipe
BHR ignition setup
new msd wires,oem plugs
sohn+install kit
allways premixed.
problem happens only at 6500-7000 rpm at partial throtle, only when humid.
even in pourring rain, i can be WOT and nothing happens,
but if i'm at 50% throtle it kinda buck/hesitate at around 7000 rpm, and if i hold it there, i get a p0300 random missfire.
tried to re-instal stock coils with new ngk wires, stock air box, and nothing change.
i did an engine/engine bay shampoo a couple weeks ago , cant say if it's caused by that, since i have 2 cars and take the rx8 only as a fun car/road tripping car.
i allready cleaned maf, ess, plugs, checked for a cracked ceramic on plugs, switch the whole car back to stocl, got the UIM out and cleaned all my ground and took resistance check of all selenoid(ssv and vdi), got my ssv out for cleaning, installed an aftermarket grounding kit, reseted NVRAM unplugged the battery.
got good reading of baro, maf, and both 02
no vaccum leaks, and cleaned all(ALL) connector with electrical contact cleaner and dried em with compressed air.
i jsut dont know what to check anymore.
on dry / hot weather, the car is flawless at any rpm/variation.

My apologies. It was an attempt at humour, quite a poor one. I'm new here aswell and got a bit ahead of myself, so no, it isn't a welcoming joke and I meant nothing detrimental by it. Sorry

no offence taken
back to the topic. if anyone feels like brainstroming about my issues, id like to know what you guys think about it.
what could cause issue like missfire, only in the rain/humid days. its clearly affected by humidity of any kind. and i cant figure out what it is.
like if it wasent enough , there is no issues when i`m full on throttle, making me think there is something wrong with the sensors that would enable closed loop.
in open loop(WOT) i have no issues.
so its related to humidity and closed loop in my opinion
i have a LAUNCH obd reader that can get me live data stream, and i dont see anything, from af reading to o2, maf in g/sec and so on.
next step for me would be to change sensors one by one from a known working car and identify the SOAB that cause that.
after that would be to check continuity of every single wires from ecu to sensors.
if anyone have any idea, let me know, im willing to try next to anything, been on that case for weeks
thanks

does your LAUNCH unit do datalogging to microsd? The one I have does and it's brilliant. if you can go for a drive whilst logging, making it do what it's doing, cause the fault on purpose, as often as possible, then upload the data here for the gurus to see?

sadly my pocket launch device cannot save to micro sd.
can update via usb, show live data, even color graph of multiple data, but no export.
kinda hard to see while driving, but thanks for the heads up.

maybe get someone to video record the live data while you drive? then upload the video?
