Looking to Replace my Motor

Hello everyone. Please help. My motor has given out on me (no compression, dealer says i need a new motor). I'm looking online to buy a used motor. Any suggestions on where to look? I've been on ebay and there are used JDM motors that might need some modifications? I have 2004 Manual transmission.

I live in Hawaii. It was compression tested and showed to have no compression.

JDM engines are identical to the regular ones, maybe that's a cheaper option for you. BUT, if you're buying a used engine, have its compression confirmed before you put money in.

^Like he said, compression #'s are the deciding factor, or you just might end up having 2 dead engines that need to be repaired.

If the numbers are good, that's not too bad a price for an engine AND transmission but shipping is likely going to kill the deal for you...
