Nice thread. More people should read stuff like this before getting themselves into trouble. I believe it keeps kids off of the streets and away from drugs.

Um,
Nice Moderator People.
I just realized, after looking at DIY stuff, that I was a complete idiot and started this in the Tech Garage and not in DIY. That would explain why people I told to search the DIY section did not find it.
What are the ramifications of moving it? Does the thread ID stay the same?
Thanks,

I can easily change the title as needed. Does it belong more in DIY or in FAQ / Discussion though? I can see an argument either way, just looking for your thoughts/preferences.
The thread link itself should still point to it at it's new location. When a thread is in Live that is then moved after it appears there, clicking the link still finds the thread in the new subforum.

I wouldnt use brake cleaner, its a bit too strong to use on sensitive equipment like a MAF sensor. You can go to any auto parts store and pick up some Mass air flow sensor cleaner. Which you could also use to clean out your EGR valve and most other sensitive components

I really appreciate this thread! As a new owner of a used RX-8, I plan to do just about all of these modifications within the next couple weeks to ensure that my rex will last a while! Thanks!

RIWWP needs a gold medal, cookie and a paypal donate button; his threads are perfect and so damn informative.
My pristine 05 RSX-S got totaled last week (t-boned by some *** in a rental, I was original owner...i cried) and I am literally torn apart between getting a basic econo cruiser (accord) for the time being or just getting a R3, which I want more than anything.
