Yellow 8 In Abingdon MD

I see it all the time now just wondering if it belongs to anyone on this board. I see it a lot on singer road and 924, Last night it was at the beverage barn. Just curious, is it anyone here?

Heritage just got 2 rx8's this morning, winning blue and velocity red. The colors are amazing in dirrect sunlight. The blue one has been sold, the red was being prepped for the showroom floor. It was loaded with the nav, red leather, . . . I'll be going up later for some pics.

Yes they do.

They have a yellow 6 speed and a red 6 speed. Both with grand touring packages, no nav. I wouldn't buy the red rx8 though, the salesman was telling me its their demo... they beat the hell out of it.

But the 3rd week of September their getting quie a large shipment in of 8's. I highly reccomend if you plan on buying one to drop your reserve payment on one, their going fast.

I went up to the festival today and looked at the red one while I bought a new Expedition. I asked the sales manager if it was true about the RX8 making alot less hp than advertised. He said yes, its gotten to be so bad that Mazda has offered to buy back anyone's RX8 thats not happy or give free extended warranty's. So you guys may want to look into getting the warranty for free. I like the RX8 alot, but with only about 220hp and very little torque, I'll wait till the new RX7 comes and keep drivin my '94 RX7.

Over the weekend I drove a Pontiac Firehawk and felt what true horsepower should be. Also test drove a Mustang Mach1. Both are nice and lower cost then the RX8.

My brother got the Firehawk that was at the Festival car sale.

For the looks inside and out RX8 wins and everyone talks about it wherever I go. For gas, engine power, lower cost, Mustang Mach1.

As for the gas I'm getting about 220 before you need to refill. So about 16-18 mpg.

So basically a RX8 eats as much gas as a v8 or more with less horsepower. I agree the 238 is still high and 220 is a better number.

If looks, the ride, wheels, and nice features appeal to you, the RX8 is the best looking car right now.

Haven't decided yet what I'm going to do. I love the style inside and out plus the way it handles the road but its just missing that power that a sports car should have that makes it better then a four or 2 door sedan.

Hey wolfer i saw you today at the intersection of 24 and route 1. You were waiting at the light and i was driving towards the dealership in a green 626. My friend was in the passengers seat and said "whoa what kind of car is that". It's definatly a head turner.

Stopped by the dealer yesterday and saw 3 or 4 more RX8's. One guy drove off with one.

Had a TITANIUM GRAY one that looked real nice. Never seen a car that color before.

I'm doing the buy back because the fuel and hp doesn't really do it for me and the way Mazda is handling this issue, sign this and that worries me. I counted my good chips and bad chips and I had more bad chips.

If they had a better option then just the 4 year service maybe I would be keeping it.

It was nice driving around for a month and a half getting looks and almost causing fender benders in the process which could be a bad thing.

I saw that yellow RX8 last week. Too bad I wasn't in mine. First one I've seen on the road besides mine.

I should hop in mine and drive around town. I know we got lots more out there.

Saw a yellow 8 driven by a guy with a big ol' cigar on the DC Beltway last week near the River Road entrance.

Wanted to give a thumbs-up, but he didn't pay any attention...

i see them a lot in bel air now. BTW yellowGT8 i drove in your car a couple times. I was along for the ride from heritage to the festival, and when they unloaded it off the truck. Great car congratulations. Today i saw a black 8 from heritage with dealer tags, it was pulled over on the side of the road and the cop was talking to the driver.
