There is a sushi meet that the lower tri-state people have once a month usually, but not in VA I recall, mainly the main tri-states area like PA/NJ/DE/MD, etc. I'd try and see if there is a Virginia thread around and contact someone about anything going on, good luck.

Saw a dark colored shinka on 95 south driving towards VA. It was a woman driving and it had ravens tags around 4 pmish does anyone know the owner of this vehicle?

Painted them after cleaning them and scuffing the metal up with brass and sand paper. I did it about 2 years ago and it was finally starting to loose its luster.



Its good to break them down, inspect, clean, and lube up those floating pins. If I would have done this sooner I wouldn't be replacing the caliper mount since one of the pins is nice and frozen.

hey everyone
got my self a bit troubled yellow lady
she was feeling really bad when i came to meet her
though she started feeling better during our initial interaction
so i decided to take her in, for at least awhile
she's feeling better each day
and i can't keep from smiling each time i come out to see her
even if i'm just passing by

i'd appreciate any advice on how to make our relationship good for her
i know some of the basic stuff
biggest ailment is she spitting fuel and down on power and power delivery
secondary - center console is blacked out, horn is quiet, lights are in one mode (either on or off, no drl, no fog, didn't check high beams), the dash doesn't switch to nightmode
note previous owner was installing additional audio and maybe more

the good - spark plugs and coils en-route

i'd be happy for any input or a meet up but for knowledge exchange, not for showing off

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most of the time, if it's down on power, most likely your going to need to rebuild the engine. Also, some 8s didn't come with the DRL and the dash should switch to night mode as soon you turn on your headlights, if it doesn't, check the bulb and check the fuses too. Change everything that's burnt out

Edit: I'm no rotary expert, and if anything I'm located in the Bronx, and my car needs a rebuild too. If you do find a good rotary mechanic let me know, so we could both take our cars in, probably work out some sort of package deal and save some money.
