Unhappy RI auto show in providence, no RX-8

Hello,
I'm new here but I thought as a public service I would notify everybody that there is not an RX-8 at the auto show in Providence. In fact the show was pretty lame. No RX-8, no WRX STi, no Mitsubishi EVO, not a single BMW, no cadillac XLR (which I am dying to see).

They did however have the new Mustang (pretty cool) the front end appears as though Ford used some old front end molds from Aston Martin. Does anybody else see that??
They also had the new Chrysler Crossfire which looked sweet but unfortunately will probably be pretty slow. (215 hp and too heavy)
They had that new VW RS6 or something and that Ford concept with the 427 engine (I forget the name) Other than that the show was pretty boring. Oh well I'll just have to wait for the NY show.

I also attended the show, but I was expecting the 8 not to be there. As you said there was no BMW plus no lexus or porche. The car with the 427 is just called the 427. Dodge didn't even have the SRT-4. I think the VW is called the R36 (could be wrong) and it kicks ***. It has 237 HP, all wheel drive, and a nice feeling 6 speed. Other than the cars you mentioned it was visiting a car show room. Nothing really special.

the cars you listed weren't there because the auto show this year in Providence was a display for 2003 model year vehicles.

the STi, EVO8, RX-8, etc. are all 2004's.

They'll be there next year, after they've already been released to the public.

Actually the 2004 Mustang was there as well as the Chrysler Crossfire and a buch of other 2004 and beyond cars.
