I understand there are not many of use located in western NY, but I wanted to start our own little space on the server to gather and commemorate our ideas and idiocies
Anyways names Ryan, located just outside Buffalo. Always looking to help out and encourage the ownership of a little part of history that is the rotary engine. If anyone in the area needs a hand or advise I will do my best to help in any way that I can. My own way to pay it forward to recognize all those who have helped me in my journey here over the last year.
And for those that don't know here is my 8, more details in my build thread located in my sig.

fantastic idea, lets see if we can bring all the wny 8's together, names Kevin, wont be much help for the tech questions which is sad for how long I've owned a rotary, but I'm always down for a get together or cruise, currently living in tonawanda, but my parents, gf and job are all in williamsville area so I'm always in the area as well.

Hey everyone I'm Kyle live in Angola, which again is about 10-15 mins outside of buffalo and I've owned my 8 for about 3 months now love it, with the exception of a few things but if you guys are interested in audio Ive taken apart my dash and everything for a system to many times.

Not to bad, considering my engine was in great shape I didn't need to replace any housings or irons (I actually didn't even need a rebuild I just wanted a Pettit block) so all in all with shipping back and forth about $3500. Thats with flexforce apex 3mm apex seals and the machining of the rotor's to fit them.
Will have all my parts waiting for me when I get back and should have it all done within that week.

And sorry to talk/ ask so many questions I am just still very curious and seeking help. but, I'm getting a cold air and exhaust. Which would you recommend/ add the most performance for both? If you don't mind throwing it out there.

Mazdaspeed/AEM intake. I personally have and love the exoticspeed exhaust. I have the full engine back, header midepipe catback. You can get them all from Danny at assualtech, I believe he is the only vendors from them right now. They are located in Canada, great quality great sound. Only problem is like 90% of the midepipe's out there you get an O2 CEL ( I don't care considering I'm COBB tuning in the future) but if that's an issue you can get the RP Super Cat instead of the midepipe it won't through a code. Also don't waste your time getting the 2 1/2", we have 3" flanges so utilize them and get the full 3" one.
