I'm getting mine from Newport Autocenter hopefully within the next few days. My dealer called me and said they were released from port and on their way. They are getting 6 in total with the other RI dealers getting 3 or 4 (from my own research).
Velocity Red -Black/red leather, GT package $31,300.
Congratulations ri rx8 and welcome to the forum. I hope to be getting one soon. I didn't preordered but a have come across a few dealers with alocation cars available. I can't wait to actually see one. Have fun with the car and post some reveiws when you get a chance.

I stopped by Tasca Mazda in Cranston and they said they are expecting there cars to come in in the next week or two. Their first car is going to be an auto (yuck) and a manual will follow shortly there after and by a little while latter they expect 20+ cars.
I went to Gallery Mazda in Norwood , MA today. They had a winning Blue RX-8 there
and it was stunning. It's true what everybody says. pictures do not do this car justice. The cloth interior is very nice. I didn't get too much time with it as they were closing up when i got there. Oh well at leat we know they've made it to southern New England.
