This is the Grand Touring with the sports package. 6speed Manual Transmission. Tires still have LOTS of tread left. The seats are two toned red/black leather seats. The driver and front passenger seats are heated. Instead of the stock stereo unit it has a double din dash nav/dvd unit. It is a kenwood dnx5120 (worth about $1,000 alone!) and it is amazing. It has iPod support (actual ipod connection and charging) as well as AUX port thanks to the aftermarket head unit. The sound in this car is phenomenal! Installed are two 10" kicker subs as well as an alpine amp. All electrical wires are clean and hidden for a nice clean look. It also has a red AEM cold air intake. The seats are in excellent condition. The rear windows are tinted. The low beam lights are HID's. Included in the purchase will be the stock stereo unit incase for some reason you want to replace the touchscreen kenwood nav/dvd system. Also if you dont want the intake i can replace it with the stock intake or if you do want the intake i'll also include the stock intake. Also if you've searched the rx8 you'll find that some '04 rx8 owners have had to replace their engines because the 2004's were known to some engine failures due to flooding. A little background on that, "The reason there are so many problems with 04's (and to a lessor degree 05's) is the way they were treated coming into the US port (flooding) and the ECU calibration wasn't injecting enough oil into the combustion chamber. Both of these were corrected by Mazda." Well this rx8 is basically a brand new engine with about 5k miles (65k miles on the body) so you don't have to worry about the engine failing on you. It was replaced by Mazda (i have paperwork from dealer for proof). So basically it's running like new. I take care of this car, let it warm up before driving, revving between 3k-5k (depending on the drive trip) rpms before turning off (as suggested by mazda), and constantly checking the oil, etc. Also the clutch is a stage 2 clutch also installed by Mazda. and fairly new pads and rotors. Shifts smooth. I also recently got the corner sidemarkers tinted black. Gives the car a more clean look then having them orange. Price is $14,000 OBO. Open to ALL reasonable offers. If you're hesitant about price PM me, i'm sure we'll be able to work something out on price. Will also consider a trade for a BLACK Mazda3 S. Pretty sad on selling, have to make some sacrifices.
