My son is graduating college and i'm looking to buy him an 04-05 mazda rx8

I'm interested in a black, white, red or blue 6 sp GT.

I have no real set price range so let me know if your looking to sell.

I'm a bit of a newbie around these parts too BUT I've been lurking and doing some homework.

From what I've gathered: Avoid the '04s. Apex seal issues with the engine can be an MFer.

I'd also think about searching auto classified Web sites. On these cars, sure seems worth the expense to get an extended warranty.

Well he paid for college himself he got a full ride to college for golf and I didn't pay a dime. I thought it would be a nice thing to do since he saved me a good 60,000 dollars.

Just adding, 04 engines are no different than 05 or 06 ect.

He is a lucky kid! but paying for college himself is quite the accomplishment!

He will be very happy with his car. I have a 2004 GT myself, and at 42,000 miles have had NO major problems at all.

Also, ALL RX-8's have 100,000 mile/ 10 Year Engine Core warranty

Ill sell ya mine for $12,500 has 74k miles, tinted windows, painted taillights, 18" ADR wheels with Nitto tires, Black exterior, Black leather interior, Bose sound system, just had the oil, tranny fluid, air filter changed yesterday also had Morries Mazda do a software upgrade. It is a automatic but has the auto manual and paddle shifters.
