Speed Traps in Michigan
Post up the locations of the speed traps you see often. Help save an RX driver a few bucks.
One that I can count on being there EVERY WEEK DAY MORNING is:
> I-696 East Bound just a couple miles east from the junction with I-275. (2 miles before Orchard Lake Road) He will be sitting on the right side under an overpass or just past it. He used to have a white plain car but they've upgraded him to a burgandy Camaro Z-28 with heavy tinted windows.
I was so sure he'd be there that I had the camera phone ready to snap a picture while he laser'd me.
So extra points if you get a picture of them in their spot.
EDIT: He was not there this morning. Instead, this officer uses his radar on eastbound traffic that passes under the Orchard Lake Road overpass. He radios ahead to waiting officers.
In short: Take I-696 slowly through Farmington Hills. (It's a cash cow for the police force.)

^^ Forgive me if I've ever cut you off. LOL
Yes, I take I-94E to M12E to 275N to 696E to Orchard Lake Road. It bites for a commute. I'd save a fortune in gas if I'd just go out and get something like a Tercel for the weekdays. (Smart move)
