Midnight Madness at Gateway Int'l Raceway, St. Louis Metro area May 12
Hey everyone,
This announcement is already posted on the rx7club site, but I don't see it anywhere here. So here goes. May 12th, Friday night, Midnight Madness at Gateway International Raceway just east of St. Louis, MO. Weather permitting, gates will open at 8pm. Racing starts at 9pm and goes until 3am. The show 'Pinks' will also be there doing a casting call. I've talked to the guys at Gateway, it is $20 to race and $10 for each additional person with you. Sounds like there will be lots going on. As long as it isn't canceled, I'll be there. Hopefully I won't be the only 8 representing. See you all out there!!!

Great time, to those who missed it. There was a blue and a red 8 out there, not sure if either of you are on the forum. I had five runs on the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately, the first four runs were against Camaros with 800+ horse power underneath the hood. I am stock at 238. My best run in those four was within 2 seconds of the winner...I didn't have a chance. However, my last run was against a Saturn. Pretty much left him at the starting line. Had my best personal run, crossing the finish line at 98mph. Hope to see some of you turn out at the next one, if not as racers then as spectators.
