High Flow Catalyst

Hey, I have an 04 rx8 and heard a high flow catalyst will help it out a little. Is this true? And if it is any recommendations?

Just get a straight pipe. To keep noise down get one that is resonated like the one from Racing Beat.

That was my guess as well, as far as I know about Cali, they hang people for going catless.

Yah, I live in San Jose, Cali. I already passed smog, and got the car on new spring plus different exhaust. And I have a couple in my friends shop and they said I can take one, so I decided to ask around.

If you don't have some clue about what you're doing, don't do anything. There are no easy, cheap power gains to be had. Every answer to your question is already in the forum.
