Evolv Stickers!
This thread was started for the guys in EVOLV that would want stickers to represent them being in EVOLV. If anyone has any good ideas or actually has created a picture of an EVOLV sticker post it in here and we will try to get the best one to be created. We will eventually have a vote on which one looks the best but for now please submit your ideas or visions of one.
Oh also if you don't have any ideas please still post to show your support of having this project be completed.

This was discussed years ago when the group originally formed. There was mixed reaction then and from a lack of posting in this thread I'm guessing also now.
We had a member back then that put out some of his cash to get them made, and then was not too happy when he found out no one really wanted it. So before anyone makes them, I'd definitely be sure to get a realistic count of those who will purchase them beforehand.
I wouldn't put one on my car.

I agree with RSD. I have some experience with this sort of stuff. I would suggest a t-shirt for a few reasons;
1. People who are interested are more likely to get more than one.
2. With a little time/energy this is not that hard to do.
3. Depending on volume/quality of the material/printing this could be done easily for 10-15 per shirt
4. Once we have a logo decided on we just find the best place to get the shirt done up, and if we want stickers later it will be cheaper then just doing the sticker right off then bat.
5. Lots of people will not put a sticker on the car, but would buy at least one t-shirt.
Before anyone asks the reason behind #4 is that there is usually a one time artwork charge at most shops that deal with custom logo's. Once we have paid that initial cost we could get anything (stickers, hats, sweat shirts, zippos, etc) for a reasonable price. Also, probably would have to be a money up front thing and will take a few months to get organized (not volunteering to do it, but will help).

I vote that I still want a vinyl with a club logo to put at the bottom of the black strip between my windows. Much like this:
I also vote that I am staying as far away as possible from the designing of another frickin' logo.

If I was to make a sticker for the club, I would most def make a very small one. I too don't like to put stickers on my car, but i would make a small on that has a see tru background so the letter/logo would be the only thing showing. I just would like some people to help me make a good looking logo that we can permanently have for this club. So please suggest some things or post a pic up of what you personally have made. Then as the logo gets closer to being decided we can talk about what to put it on.

I wouldn't mind a decal to put on the back-window... something 12"L x 3"H would be cool. I have my Mazda "Zoom Zoom" back there... I'd happily throw a "EVOLV - Chicago's Rotary Car Club" sticker back there.... If you get one made, I'll spend on it. White is the preferred color.
