Chicagoland service question
Hi folks,
My '05 Shinka is in the new garage at the new house out in the western boonies (Gilberts, IL) and I'm moving the rest of the stuff this weekend. She needs an oil change and some misc maintenance real soon, and I'm wondering where to go, in the area.
I have those coupons which entitle me to free oil changes & maintenance, but my first try and using them last week ended in nearly b****-slapping the service manager "aka - the nasty fat guy" at the Mazda dealer on Golf Rd. (just past Golf Rd. & Higgins Rd intersection). That would be a convenient place to go - but I won't set foot in that place again after this idiot talked to me.
Any ideas? Good places with honest people?
Thanks in advance.

My favorite dealership, Wilkins Buick/Mazda, is probably a little too far for you to go. You may try Biggers Mazda in Elgin. I have heard very little of them. But, I don't remember anything negative. There is also Sycamore Mazda to the west of you. Again, no feed back. But, I do know one of the mechanics that is there on a summer internship.

The closest one to you is probably Biggers Mazda in Elgin, like mentioned above. I went there to test drive an 8, and they seem like a decent place. I've heard good things from a few other people. They've at least been around a while, so for routine maintenance they should suit you just fine. They're up on Chicago Ave with all the other Elgin dealerships.
