Warning about Sil Ter-har in Broomfield, CO
If you guys are thinking about buying the Red 2010 R3 that they have at this dealer, don't bother.
After going there with my gf, who had the intention of buying it, we learned quite a few things that we hadn't noticed the previous times we looked at the car.
There is a dent on the left rear wheel fender flare, and the bottom of the dent damaged the paint. There is extensive hail damage on the hood, roof, right front fender, and both right side doors. You have to catch it at an angle to see it, but its there. The right rear door is the worst, by far.
The best part is that they refuse to discount the price to sell you a damaged vehicle, or agree to fix the damage that they have had their insurance company pay them to fix, last June when the last bad hail storm hit town.
So, they want $30k for a damaged vehicle.
They won't discount it by the amount of the insurance payout they received to fix the vehicle. They won't fix the damage, either.
Nor will they discount it by the amount of the Manufacturer to Dealer incentive they would get for selling the car. That would be $3k.
So, again, if you were thinking about looking at this car, don't bother.
Its really not worth your time.

She was thinking about it.
The condition of the car kind of put her off on it for the moment, but she does want to put her convertible up for sale.

Similar story from a coworker who wanted to buy at their Volvo store . Would only budge $500 off . Basically told him they didn't have to sell him their car . He took his business to Mercedes Benz of Westminster and they were happy to take over $5k off a C class . When I got my RX8 there in '08 there was body damage over both rear wheel wells, you thought I was asking to part the Red Sea . I told them I paid for a brand new car,not slightly damaged so they had to fix it . They did,but I won't buy from them again(this wasn't my first Sil Terhar purchase) and I took my car all the way to Lakewood Mazda when I got a new engine under warranty .
