i showed up around 230 and they announced they had to cancel the race. i talked to dogeater for awhile....i parked like right next to your truck but i didn't see you anywhere....we should try again this Saturday or Sunday. im thinking convoy down to a restaurant somewhere... and not have a 6 hour time frame. haha
ya the weather really put a damper on things. I had 7 to 10 rides showing up and only 4 total showed up.
we will have to do a more specific meet that's for sure. and get more out of towners in too.
this weekend will be a no go for me. ill be out of town for the girlfriends birthday vacation dogeater will prob be in helena.

If you dont know where Big R is then your insane because its the biggest freakin parking lot in town. haha. But yea we are meeting there and then going for drinks some where. Figure thats the best way to get to know each other besides standing around our cars.....as much as i like to stand by my car

I am thinking about getting an 06-07 rx8. how do they hold up when it's below zero. or what could i put on it to get it to hold up for winter. i have no garage and live in belgrade. i know blizzaks are highly recommended, anything else besides tires?

im not from montana but i should be able to help, last winter there were tons of days where it was twenty below and my eight "which is not garaged either" started right up everytime. My advice would be to let it warm up completely before taking it anywhere when its that cold, and yes tires are a good idea as well "didnt have myn last winter and i regretted it" but ya i have them on now so i guess we will see. good luck, nice to see more eights popping up north here

hey man i am going on my third winter here in great falls with my eight and i have never had a problem starting it up. i too have no garage. as said already, let it warm up before taking off and if you dont have time to let it warm up then dont redline it or anything crazy until it warms up. also do not ever start it up and shut it right off...i dont care what the problem is...let it warm up or drive it around the block and then shut it off or you will surely flood the engine....flooded engine+ -30 degree weather= pain in the cold cold ***. the only other advice i got for you is tires tires tires tires..or you will be sh*t out of luck

i hate sand so much. haha. but yeah i am from new york originally and the salt there just eats through cars. i think if you wash them often then you are good...but then again with no garage you are s.o.l

Hey guys, mind if somebody just a tad South of you piggy-backs into the convo .
What i hate most is rocks flinging from trucks onto the car. Been 3 months and my bumper already looks like a war zone . Good thing I plan on getting a body kit yet so i'll be blessed with a spare.

those logging trucks can be scary I once was flying around a curve and a logging truck was coming from the other direction a big piece of a log flew off and hit my windshield dead on I swear my life flashed before me as I thought it was gonna impale me, but non the less it just bounced off.
