First ever Rocky Mountain RX-8 Club mini meet a GREAT success!
Good old Colorado weather. Those of us that live here always say "If you don't like the weather in Colorado, wait 10 minutes!" Well, this proved once again to be true, as it was snowy and lousy roads Saturday night, and by Sunday at noon the roads had all melted and were nothing more than wet.
So, we had our mini-meet in Longmont, as scheduled, from 2:30PM to 4:30PM. :D
We had a great turnout... Buger, Serff, Icanrel-8, Chirrack, Doccable, and Omicron... AND, we had a special "imported" guest show up too... Xavier296 came all the way from Georgia with two GEORGEOUS young girls! Ok, well he was actually out here skiing, but we prefer to think of him as having come just for the meet, and the girls really were georgeous. :D
We all poked and prodded everyone's cars (three folks with 8s were there - Doccable, Chirrack, and Omicron) and everyone went for a ride in Omicron's car to "experience" what the combo of CanZoomer Stage 1, Rotary Extreme Intake, and the Borla exhaust work. :D Zoom zoom! :D We all also ooh'd and ahh'd over Doc's Mazdaspeed pillar accents and appearance package, and how much headroom was in Chirrack's base 6 speed without the sunroof. It reallu is the best bargain of all the RX-8s.
This went so well we all think it'd be a great idea if we have another one of these sometime in April. Stay tuned for details!
Pics follow. :D

Thanks to Omicron and Doc for letting me ride in their cars! I thought that the addition of two good-looking girls would help out the meet. Too bad they didn't get into the pictures!! I greatly enjoyed seeing how the cars ran when chocked for air. Don't be mistaken, they are still plenty fast! My rides make me even more anxious to get my Stage 1. Will it ever come???

Was really nice to have you join us... and the addition of the good lookin girls didn't hurt any either! :D
