There are a lot of car meets here in CO, just not Rx meets. if you go on the facebook Cars and Coffee page they list most of the meets for the month there. If anyone wants to plan to go to something we could try to get a bigger group of rotaries together at one of the meets already scheduled to happen.

I could use a new one. My business is on Hampden and Broadway. Is that close to you?

I work in the tech center (dry creek and i25) so it is not too far. My car is going in for the airbag recall at the mazda dealership tuesday and my busiest days are Friday and Monday at work so it will probably have to be after that. I may be out and about next week taking some work photos of ppl working on cell towers, so I will let you know if i can drop it by.

Alright. I need to borrow a full 8 Exhaust system so I can do emissions and get my car on the road. Does ANYONE have one? I'll pay $ to use it for a day, and get it back to you within a week.

I actually called down there recently, and apparently there's no Chris there, nor do they work on rotaries.

I spent forever trying to find someone to do the engine. Ended up giving up and doing it myself.

I'm actually so over this car at this point and want it gone before I have to move again.

What's wrong with it? I mean, I have a dedicated mechanic in the springs. He doesn't know terribly much about these cars but he does tons of research and has yet to steer me wrong when it's come to repairing any of my vehicles.

Right now it's doing the start and die but I can not figure it out. I've tried what people said on this forum plus many others. It's got spark and fuel plus good compression.

Brand new like everything else. The hail storm we got last weekend just ruined the whole body. Now just have to wait for insurance to confirm that I think it's totaled

Hey guys. I just picked up an rx8. I need to rebuild it this winter due to bad coolant seal. I also am looking for a good used transmission.

I also own an FD. we have a good rx7 group, if you want to hang with us with an 8 you are welcome.

This is an old thread, not sure how many are tracking it these days. I personally have only seen a couple RX-7's and RX-8's since moving to Colorado (they were common in Florida).

Where do you guys meet up and how often?

RX8 here series one - West Arvada / Golden area.
Long time lurker, recently created an account though.
I think the Springs might be more 'active'/common.

I still have my 2009 grand touring up here in a Fort Collins. Once in a great while I see two others around town, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen them.

I have seen a Blue S1 driving around, but honestly I haven’t really even driven mine lately. Just replaced the brakes on it and drove it to Ft Collins and back (I live in SE Denver Metro) for work. But other than that I have maybe driven it 5x this year. Part of it is I got a new Chevy ZR2 and that is fun to drive though.

Hey guys...I don't know if anyone is still around...but I have some rx8 parts that I'd like to get out of my basement. I sold mine probably 6 years ago. I do have an Agency Power Exhaust and a Racing Beat midpipe that I'd really like to move along with some miscellaneous stuff like a shift **** and coils. I even have brand new exhaust finishers to keep the exhaust from melting your bumper. I'm in Colorado Springs still but I'm willing to deliver for the exhaust bits. Send me an email and let's talk.

I have a 2004, bought in 2007 - green, no mods. I love the car but driving it a lot less now - stick shift in Denver commuter traffic sucks. I've seen a couple of 8's - a red one on Hampden/285 several times. With Covid I'm driving it even less, planning to sell it on this site.
