I bought one off ebay and it worked. When I got the car it only came with a key. I'm not sure what you mean by credit card style. Basically It's a stand alone FOB with 4 buttons.


I went ahead and bought an additional remote off of EBAY a few years ago. I tried my exact same instructions and they didn't work. I think the thing I bought off ebay was defective.

For your diy remote how many remotes did you require. I have only one , of the credit card style, and everybody says I have no options other than the dealership. Your method seems to require just one remote.
