Hi Vydictive: I have read your posts DIY on the starter for Dummies. Your DIY was however directed towards the manual trans. I have a 2004 rx8 automatic. I have the starter out of the car and I returned the starter I bought from the local auto zone because it is a remained version of the original starter which is 18 tooth /1.8 KW/ and I wanted to ask you directly if you know where I can get the updated version for the automatic starter ?. I know no one here likes the automatic's but I have the hot starting issue and i9 do not know where to purchase the up graded one can you help. Thank you and your DIY was great I read it 3 times trying to gleen info on the automatic so I thought I would ask direct. Not getting any feed back from any ojne . Thank you !.
