Hey zerobanger.. My names Cliff, Ive only had hondas before but ive wokred on everything. Saw in your post about MPG that youve owned 3 rotarys. let me tell you, the rotary SCARES THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME!I was wondering if you could give me some personal insight on owning an rx8. Ive had my 2006 shinka for about 6 months and it has 40k on it. The plugs were COVERED in oil when I replaced them and the "power surges" I was experiencing seemed to go away. seems to be doing the power surge thing again... could this mean my seals are bad? also I read that it has a ver "smooth"gearbox.. yeah right, I would say its very CLUNKY and BANGS into gear. I have a feeling its something in the diff. wondering if the plugs are doing this becuase Im not be driving it hard enough? Sorry this is drawn out just looking for some pointers on how I should drive it and major things I should know. This thing scares the hell out of me as a mechanic. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, cliff
