You would be suprised how well a simple car cover can protect you from hail - even the aluminum hood.
I guess its a bit late to suggest that at this point, though...
Go lay yourself out over the car. You'll heal.
Better yet, if you have old packing blankets or comforters, lay them over the car as best you can (don't bother with the glass).
Or go park the car in a local garage and wait it out.

Bet this one is a vintage thunder-buster with hints of fresh tornado!
Just be glad it isn't bringing sheet ice and freezing sleet - yet!
