Where the F*&%$@! are the Cicadas
People in the infected region, seen any?

I'm starting to believe this is the most hype-up event in history. Where is the "swarm"?


To date I have not seen one Cicada and I live in an "infected" location.

Should be about another week here due to a drop in ground temp. They had a big section in the paper talking about this.
We vacationed to Knoxville the last 'breeding' and it was bad! Of course we were near a park too.
Just horrible to drive over things just wanting to have an orgy!

Magic8 are you Chinese? Have you ever eaten Cicadas or thier Larvae? My grandma used to make them but I don't remember if they taste good or not..

Guy321, yup I am Chinese from Taiwan

We have some big cicadas in the forest of Taiwan. Use to catch them then made them fight. Actually, now I am much older, maybe they weren't fighting.........

Never ate them, but wouldn't mind trying.
