What's In Your Glove Box?

Rems31 got me thinking about this.

Besides your owner's manual, what's in your glove compartment?

I've got 2 CD boxes for discs in the player. One is "Captain Beyond", the other is an early Mick Abrahams album (original guitarist for Jethro Tull). Both from the early '70's. There's an air chuck and tire gague, corded earpiece for the cellphone, car charger, and mini-mag LED flashlight. Oh, and 2 spark plugs...(?)

Does anybody actually store gloves in there?

Like I said in the other thread, I can barely fit anything in there. But I have my portable GPS system in there. But the book has to go in first and be flush (ie can't just throw it in there) for the glove box to close.

I think that's why they made all those compartments in the middle. That's where I keep everything else.

edit: oh man I can just see NMO come up with a spoof thread to this...actually it would be more suited for the LH's...

What's in your love box?

Lol. I wouldn't even have thought of that if you hadn't suggested it.

In my glove box I have the manual, a tire pressure gauge, a pen or two and maybe a spare CD. Cell phone charge sits in the middle compartment, of course. Oh, and sometimes at the gas station I find caps to air valves lying on the ground. So I pick 'em up and put 'em in the glove compartment because I lose them too.

Sure, that's where the outlet is!

I used to have a retractable charger. The cord was spring loaded and reeled itself back inside the charger. This saved a lot of space. Unfortunately I used the phone once while it was hooked up, and the cord derailed.

Owners manual, insurance card, registration card, inspection receipt, two pairs of sunglasses, wife's makeup bag (she has one in every vehicle we have), receipt from dealer for last service (actually the only one so far) and a pen.

In my always locked glove box i have a CD case, insurance, registration, and my gf's sunglasses. I think that is it. I keep the owner's manual in the netting behind the passenger seat.

In the middle compartment just pen, paper, flashlight

There are a bunch of wires in my glovebox right now. They're sitting there waiting for me to mount a motherboard, DC converter, HDD, and video card to the walls of the glovebox to finish my carPC; I just need to determine the best way to do it. I figure velcro on the HDD and video card since they're relatively small, but the motherboard and DC converter may need to be fastened more securely.

Insurance, Registration, Axe Spray (i'm surprised it hasn't exploded in the weather i experience), spare glasses, tyre pressure guage, an extra unopened straw (you never know), Mechanix Gloves (auto-x and when stuff's hot), and a pen.

I'm diggin' the manual in the net idea since there's nothing in there.
