You can't turn it off, but you can minimize it (along with other sections of the forum) by clicking on the collapse thread button -->
on the right hand side.

no not good enough, i need it gone, even with it collapsed it is overstretching my browser window and i got those nasty horizontal scroll bars when i go to the home page.
please ask admin to work on that, or at least make it so its horizontal size adjusts with the size of the browser, thx.
