hi yall,
im in need of some ideas for fathers day. My husband is always on this page so i created one to get some ideas for his car. Its going to be his 1st fathers day and id like to get something nice for the car but im clueless when it comes to cars. Any ideas ? he has a 2008 mazda rx8..some of you may have talked to him on here.his screen name is ooobigfire...so if u know him and know what i could get please help me lol

Maybe an Axial Flow short shifter would be in order. Run you a little under $300.00 with shipping.
If you're thinking a little lower in budget, Petit has a Rotary Shaped Radio **** (replaces the round **** in the center of the head unit and is still lit). $30.00. It was my first mod . There's also JDM Clear Corners (replaces the amber front side markers with a clear lens) that would run well under $100.00 with shipping. And there's always front and rear rotary accents (brushed aluminum rotary accents that go over the front and read rotary symbols on the bumpers, not sure if he has a body kit though...).

First time father? I would say get him a travel mug with the little one's picture on it. I still have mine and use it all the time. Reminds me of what he used to look like
His car is already boosted and modded in various ways. It's hard to know what he's already changed or what his tastes are. Even being a gearhead myself, I'd find it risky to pick a specific item for another gearhead's car, and particularly so for the RX8 crowd. It'd be rather like a guy buying clothes for his fashionista girl friend. A gift certificate or site credit perhaps?
Another good option is a gift certificate for Sears or Northern Tool; I've been collecting tools for decades and could still find useful stuff to buy.
More personal: Mazda or RX-8 or Rotary swag! We're all suckers for it, caps, T-shirts, jackets, and other such stuff. zazzle.com has many choices. Search 'rotary' 'rx-8' or such. He'd also like you as 'Rotary Chick' or maybe even:
hold her to a bikini car wash at least.
