depends on your situation, there are all kinds of deductions especially for poor families. But everyone gets a single deduction of $4650 (may have changed this year i havent even thought of starting my taxes, because i make independent side consulting income that i havent been witholding taxes for, my goal this year, not pay any federal taxes on the side income...i cant wait for the creative accounting challenge.)

I know you get it back faster if you tell them to direct deposit the refund into your bank account. Though now that I'm outta college and working, I'm not really expecting any more refunds

you should be expecting greater refunds, since you make more money than you did in college itemizing your deductions makes sense where it wouldnt of made a difference in college.

hey magellen, believe me I've gone through that post many many many times, but I think I'd be happier with a plug and play. I also dont want to risk screwing anything up. I'm still debating if I should get it or not. Also if I do, I should probalby wait till this darn snow (IN FREAKING MARCH COM'n!) stops and gets warmer here. ooooooo to dump the money or not.:-(
