Guess you've never driven a Miata, huh? Guess you've never noticed how Miatas have dominated their Autocross and SCCA classes in competition for 15 years now, huh? A Miata is a pure sports car, no question - I fail to see how it's a "girly car", aside from insecure rednecks speculating because it's HP rating isn't large enough. Pretty much everyone who calls it a girly car also thinks it's front wheel drive. You know, complete ignorance? They completely ignore the fact that far more girls drive Honda Civics and Mustangs...
For what it's worth, Civics and Mustangs have a higher percentage of female buyers than Miatas do. Also, New Beetles and Minis seem to have a higher percentage of female buyers than those. SUVs have a larger percentage of female buyers as well.

From a girls prspective - i think the miata is a very, girly car. I test drove one last year and hated it. I felt cramped and unsafe. i am surprised that a guy would buy one. I thought if a guy wants a small car he'd get that little bmw.
What do you guys out there think when you see a girl behind the rx8? They look at me like they want to speak but are afraid to. The car isnt getting me the attention I wanted it to, sniff...

3. hmm i would say a landcruiser. man there were so many sorotity girls driving those at school that walking to class was a death wish!
then again this list is from personal experience.. so it probably isn't even close to right.. :D

trust me its getting attention its just that some people only look when they know you arent paying attention to them. once you look their way, they snap their heads in the other direction. u also have the ones that gawk no matter if your looking at them or not. just my experience

If you are girl wanting to attract other gals, come down to where I live. You can have the gay ones and I’ll stick with the straight and bi-curious ones. There's plenty to share for another fellow RX-8 driver..
