Came in to work today with plans of staying here for over 48hours straight. Took me 4 hours to get here, usually takes 40 minutes (Petaluma to Pt. Reyes). Used my alt route option on the nav numerous times. Came across flipped over cars, swollen rivers, that used to be small creeks, and mud slides. The RX-8 performed like a champ. Even drove it through about 2 feet of water.
I'll post pics when I get out of here.

Yeah, one of my friends here got out of work just a little too late and the road going to his house was flooded. They closed the road so he just slept at work and is going right back to work. Fortunately for me none of the roads that I took to get home were flooded so I was able to have the comforts of home (of course they did a telephone recall so I didn't sleep but about 3 hours).
Well, the ditches are flooding on the road I live on and all the rocks and gravel are washing out of driveways and out of the ditches into the road, not to mention tree limbs all over the place. Fortunately, I work at home so I'm safe!!!! Just so long as the power doesn't go out or my DSL go down.
