God, I have seen literally three hundred posts of people bitching and moaning about the RX-8 not coming out when they want it to, or the car doesn't have enough power, and they threaten Mazda that they're going to buy another vehicle.
Please do so. The less owners of this car that are whiny and pathetic, that'll make our reputation as the owners better.

I tried to say the same thing in a not-so-aggressive way but it didn't work out :P
I actually really like my 325i. It's such a tight machine--everything feels precision fitted, including the steering and handling, fit and finish. It's what a car should be, and after driving one for awhile, it's no surprise to me that BMW has won as many awards that they have. It is a quintessential sports sedan.
However I do not have the sport package, so my car's limits are rather low, plus the regular seats can hardly keep a small guy like me from sliding around when taking a turn. Also the automatic, as good as it is, can't keep up with the way I drive--I always put it in manumatic mode, but it shifts slow--very irritating. Flat out acceleration isn't too good either, and even worse when carrying cargo or other people.
I like pretty much everything else about the car. If I had a loaded 330i, I would not be looking at an RX-8. But ever since I got my car in march '02, I've found that I just can't get enough of that driving feel and crave more. I want something a little harder edged and I'm willing to trade luxury for performance. My mom has been complaining ever since I got my car that her car is no good--I know she want my 325i, so if I can find the funds and a decently priced RX-8, I'll get it and let my mom have my car.
