Just watching the news and caught a piece on AOL and Yahoo making it possible for companies to bypass their spam filters for $.01 per email. They claim it's to make sure consumers get the emails from businesses that they really want. Now, here's my question - when have you ever really wanted a company's junkmail?
All I see this amounting to is a whole hell of a lot more spam making it to your inbox and AOL/Yahoo capitalizing off of it. I'm tempted to cancel my Yahoo mail account because of this, but I have a few important things tied into that account, unfortunately.

I'm using evil G-mail and shitty Earthlink. I won't touch Hotmail or Yahoo. Eventually, I'll setup Waffleware.com properly so that I can filter with my own stuff.
