You should buy the 99 spec(rx7) I would. That is awsome i wish we had those in the states.

what's wrong with dealers? How come they can't call in a car when they ship cars to dealers? Like if i wanted to order a 99 rx7 from mazda, why can't they hook it up and add it in the shipment of mazda 6s that are coming into town? I live in vancouver, not a small town, so there are cars coming in and out constantly. Why not hook it up when you have extra space in the shipment? Hunh? WHY>? WHY MAZDA WHY?!?!?

let's not also forget manufacturing costs: japan and uk are both rhd countries...
i've not ever heard anything from a lhd (like N. America) countries having newer 7's...

I'd be interested to hear your logic on that point... because it's somthing that crossed my mind.

The fact is though that I plan to keep the car for some time, and one way or another the 3rd gen is an old design...... I would buy it in a heartbeat if it were not for the engineering advances in the Renesis.

Tied in with the ancilary advances it's worth waiting I think.... depending on how much I like the 8 I would definitely think about a new 7 later, if it gets made.
